We see patients from Marlborough and across Wiltshire, as well as those living along the Hampshire, Berkshire and Wiltshire borders. Online consultations mean expert autism care is accessible wherever you are based.
Initial consultations are an hour and can be in person or online.
Understanding Autism and Neurodiversity
Neurodiversity recognises that people experience and process the world in different ways. Autism, ADHD, dyslexia and other cognitive profiles often overlap and vary widely between individuals.
What works well for one person may not work for another, even within the same family. Understanding these differences is often the first step toward finding practical solutions.
How Autism Can Affect Everyday Life
Autism can influence:
- Communication style
- Social interaction
- Sensory sensitivities
- Need for structure or routine
- Emotional regulation
- Response to change
Understanding how these traits affect everyday life can help individuals identify both their strengths and the situations that may require additional support.
