MEDICAL

A thorough examination of your current state of health. We can highlight preventable possible future problems, whilst also helping reduce the consequences of cancer, heart disease, diabetes and high blood pressure by routinely checking for early signs. You’ll receive a thorough written report with suggested actions.

Well Woman check

  • Swab testing for culture if indicated
  • Blood testing for Syphilis, HIV and Hepatitis B and C

Menopause care

We’re here to support you fully as you go through the perimenopause and menopause.

We will discuss your full gynaecological and medical history and any family history of osteoporosis and cancer. Tests will include:

  • Body composition
  • Blood pressure
  • Osteoporosis risk assessment
  • Blood hormone profile

We will then discuss with you hormonal and nutritional/ lifestyle treatment options and we will prescribe HRT for you if you wish.

Pill check

If you’re on birth control medication, it’s advised to regularly check the impact it’s having on your body. We’re experienced in offering full contraceptive advice based on your needs.

Cancer screening

Screening is an effective way of diagnosing cancer before symptoms are apparent. We can discuss screening with you in detail. We provide annual screening for patients of any age who may be at increased risk, or be concerned about their chances of suffering from cancer. Early discovery can significantly improve long-term treatment outcomes.

Camp, school and pre-university checks

Before your child goes off to a summer camp or starts a new school or university, it’s often required that their health is checked and they’re equipped with any advice or vaccinations they may need. We are happy to help.

We will discuss your child’s medical history and any current concerns they may have, discuss their immunisation status, provide an examination of heart, lungs, abdomen, spine and skin and conduct blood tests if required.

You’ll receive a completed form on their current health, ensuring they’re in the best health before they go away.
